Jordan Teams Up With Deborah

The 80's are back it seems. Jordan Knight (formerly of NKOTB) has teamed up with Deborah (Debbie) Gibson (one of my personal favorites) for the start off single for his new album "Love Songs" to be released August 29th. The song entitled "Say Goodbye" has already been doing quite well on Billboard, currently #35 on the Adult Contemporary chart. This marks the first time Deborah has been on the Billboard charts since February 1993 when her song "Losin' Myself" from the album Body, Mind, Soul hit #49. Though she hasn't enjoyed Pop music success in over a decade, Deborah has been a busy girl with her theatre career, recently appearing in the premiere of a new musical entitled St. Heaven, as well as posing for Playboy Magazine (much like her 80's counter-part Tiffany), releasing Colored Lights (her Broadway music album), and currently starting a workshop for a new musical which she has co-written with Jimmy Van Patten called "The Flunky".

Enough about that though, back to the song. The simple yet beautiful Pop ballad has become the third most added song to AC radio, and the two will be performing on Good Morning America this coming Tuesday August 22nd. Check Local Listings. You can download the song off i-tunes now, or if you know me just ask and I'll send.

PS. clicking that little play icon on the first picture won't do anything. It's the only picture I could find of the two of them together lol.
PPS. All the reviews I've read regarding this song have pretty much mentioned how happy people are that Deborah is back, it's not even her song. Oh well, sorry Jordan. You've been usurped.
